Welcome to our church!The Mission of First Evangelical Congregational Church is to exalt Christ as Lord and Savior and to accomplish to following purposes: - To win souls for the kingdom of Christ through leading them to a personal experience of accepting Christ as savior.
- To help those who have accepted Christ to grow in the fear and admonition of the Lord by having an effective teaching program which meets the needs of all who seek to learn and grow spiritually.
- To comfort those who are passing through valleys because of the death of loved ones, sickness, separations or divorce.
- To challenge young people to be all that their God-given talents and abilities will allow.
- To have a meaningful worship experience which challenges all of God's people to be concerned about the needs of others and their relationship to God and their fellow man.
- To be a witness and source of strength to those in the community by reaching out to them in love and compassion.
- To provide an opportunity for people to develop a strong prayer life through the regular prayer meetings and through small groups of individuals with similar needs and interests.
- To be a haven of rest for the weary and a source of strength for the weak.
- To provide an atmosphere of friendliness and fellowship for those who are lonely and need to feel wanted.
- To be a caring church for the peoples of the world through a strong missionary program.
- To be very supportive of those who are leaders in the church beginning with the pastors.
- To give honor and glory and praise to Him for any successes which may result from our service to Him and to others.
